Predevelopment

The core tasks of Predevelopment include the development of ideas and innovations for future vehicle projects, for instance progressive interior design concepts. This applies in particular to:

• Body and interior concepts
• Seating systems
• Stowage compartments and trays
• Cargo systems
• Opening systems
• Drives for opening systems

It includes the examination of these concepts for feasibility, customer benefit, economy and modularization.

This is where we find the creative minds that invent and think through new vehicle projects and innovative components for the future. This area in particular offers the new generation of engineers a good opportunity to win their first spurs at Semcon with a paper or university thesis.
