Mechatronics

In the Mechatronics subunit our hardware and software development covers the entire process chain in control unit design: from circuit design through simulation to end-of-line test. Merely the production is handled later by partner companies.

In the Mechatronics unit Semcon’s engineers are partners in the development and setup of test systems such as those used for the validation of voltage and power distribution boxes for high-volume car models.

We also offer our customers complete integration in the vehicle. Apart from cable harness development and component tests in the lab car, this includes the development of customer-specific test systems of all types. A typical product for development purposes is the universal roof control unit, on the basis of which we can produce control units for prototypes within an extremely short time.
