Model building

The tasks of the Model building unit include the construction of design and reference vehicles and of cutaway and functional models. These are often vehicles which are built for exhibitions, trade fairs, presentations, shows or press launches and, depending on purpose, have to satisfy many different requirements. In the preliminary stages leading up to completed whole vehicles our employees also fabricate foam, clay and wind tunnel models for our clients.

In addition, we are the right place to go for producing seats and seating systems for prototypes and small series. We not only are experts in the production of parts in carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP), fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GFRP), Ureol and foam, but also have the know-how to develop and manufacture tools for the professional processing of CFRP and GFRP laminates, and for vacuum molding as well.

The Modelbuilding department has a large number of CNC machine tools at its disposal to guarantee perfect results. Thus it is possible to produce required milled and turned components ourselves or perform work on cylinder heads directly in-house.
