Recombinant API manufacturing

Customer: Novo Nordisk A/S

The challenge:
We were one of four companies hired to build a complete plant for manufacturing recombinant API for Novo Nordisk A/S, factor VII

Our role: 
We delivered nine complete, fully automated process modules from the basic design (process, mechanical and automation) to validation and qualification (DQ, IQ and OQ).

The automation system for all process modules is based on Emerson delta V and structured according to the S88 standard.

Result:
The plant was completed in 18 months.
