Industrial design

Handheld devices, such as phones, are often small devices with lot of features and functions. Users shall be able to easy interpret and understand how to use it. It shall also be ergonomic and give right sense of quality. Beside all of this one of the most important things is styling. This is where we “play” with materials, coatings, surfaces textures, colour and graphics and so on. Image is not everything but it is important, and fun!

Other products in the telecom area is of course all kinds of system devices for example antennas and base stations. Ergonomics and usability is obvious targets for a designer but also to make the product or machine express its qualities in tems of e.g robustness, effectiveness and reliability. For a company with alarge range of products it is also important to consider the design strategy to create a family of products that is visually clear and easy to identify on the market.
